Where do you live?

Lenexa, Kansas

Where is your hometown?

Riley, Kansas

What was your career journey, to where you are now?

I spent over 15 years at a mechanical, electrical and plumbing firm doing power and lighting design for commercial buildings across all sorts of market sectors.

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?

Graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in architectural engineering.

What is your biggest professional or personal accomplishment?

My biggest professional accomplishment has been the work I've done on the new terminal at the Kansas City International Airport.

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?

Pre-COVID, I enjoyed live music, comedians, or having a cocktail with friends. Now it's more crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, and Netflix.

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?

Married to my wife Erin for four years. We have two boys: Henry, 2, and Daniel, 5 months. We also have a dog, Stella, a Weimaraner.

What three words best describe your personality?

Quiet, Reserved, Contemplative

What is one of the items on your bucket list?

Travel around Europe.

What characteristic or value do you most admire in others?

Intelligence

What is your unique talent, skill or gift?

I have an amazing talent to retain and recall obscure trivia.
