Where do you live (city and state)?

Springfield, Missouri. I am in the process of relocating to Kansas City.

Where is your hometown?

Springfield, Missouri

What was your career journey, to where you are now?

Prior to joining GSA, I worked in private practice for over 20 years, most recently as a partner in a medium-sized law firm in Springfield, Missouri, where I specialized in commercial, banking, construction, business, transactional, employment and personal injury litigation for corporations and businesses. I also advised and represented local school districts on construction, procurement and contract administration, and benefit matters.

I earned my BSBA in Finance and Banking/Real Estate from the University of Missouri in 1988 and my J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1991.

My wife, Kristin, is a Kansas City native, and she is very excited about the move back “home.” I have three children and a miniature schnauzer.

I enjoy pretty much all outdoor activities, but I really love hiking/mountaineering, camping/backpacking, fly fishing, and snow skiing. I also enjoy playing guitar and acting as shadetree mechanic to an old '67 Camaro.

What is one of the items on your bucket list?

To hike the Grand Canyon from rim-to-rim.
