Where do you live?

Kansas City, Missouri

Where is your hometown?

Royal Oak, Michigan (near Detroit)

What was your career journey to where you are now?

I have spent the last 10 years working as a litigation attorney for a law firm in Detroit. 

What other federal government or military experience have you had and for how long?

This is my first adventure into the government sector, and I am very excited.

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?

I earned my Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University in Aviation Flight Science (including my commercial multi-engine and instrument ratings). I then went on to earn my Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?

I am an avid horse person, having spent 30 years in the equine industry both as an amateur and a professional. I love to spend my time trail riding all over this beautiful country.

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?

I am a mother to two Australian Cattle Dogs and two horses.

What is one of the items on your bucket list?

Dog sledding in Alaska.
