Where is your hometown?

Rochester, New York

What was your career journey, to where you are now?

My husband retired from the Army not too long ago, so my journey included moving every couple of years and starting over each time. I joined the civilian workforce 11 years ago at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and have been there ever since.

What other federal government or military experience have you had and for how long?

I worked for U.S. Army Garrison of the U.S. Army Installation Management Command for the past six years, and U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command prior to that. Both of which were in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and under the Department of Defense.

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?

Rochester Institute of Technology, B.S. in accounting.

What is your biggest professional or personal accomplishment?

Raising my family.

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?

Spending time with my family. We are very competitive and love to get together and play games (i.e., cards, cornhole, etc.). And, shopping — I love to shop!

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?

I am married with three children; Zachary, 23, Cecelia, 21 and Mykala, 20. I also have a sweet 13-year-old rescue dog, Yankee.
