GSA to Host Virtual Industry Day for Businesses Seeking Government Contracts

DENVER -- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS) is hosting a virtual Industry Day on November 30, 2022 and January 11, 2023 as an opportunity for large and small businesses to learn about contracts in Colorado, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming. The first day of the program will provide businesses with a Back to Basics of the Region 8 portfolio, with an evaluation of the recurring services program and upcoming government contract opportunities for the year. In addition, attendees will be afforded the opportunity to hear from our Regional Office of Small Disadvantaged Utilization Office and learn about contract set asides.  The second day will offer companies an opportunity to provide more information about what they specialize in,  and how that expertise can benefit the federal government.

A key focus for the program is to bridge the gap between industry and Region 8 by opening lines of communication to ensure requirements for the federal government can be met. Specifically, the program will cover the multiple acquisition contract opportunities upcoming for Facility Engineering, Custodial Services and Landscape and Snow Removal in Colorado, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming.

“This is an information driven session where GSA is hoping to provide our contractor partners with relevant information on our portfolio and make them aware of upcoming contract opportunities that support future requirements within our region,” said PBS Regional Commissioner Tanisha Harrison. “We are focusing on making government more accessible by building relationships with industry to ensure that we are able to partner for successful and innovative procurements.”

Interested businesses can register for the event at R8rspteam@gsa.gov by November 28. Please use "Recurring Services Industry Day – Registration” in the subject line.
