ICYMI: In Case You Missed It.

Last month, GSA released the FAS Focus podcast episode featuring Office of Travel, Transportation, and Logistics (TTL) Assistant Commissioner Charlotte Phelan.

Tune in to learn more about how TTL provides GSA and partner agencies with programs and solutions for travel, motor vehicle, and transportation services. Throughout the pandemic and before, TTL has continuously provided goods, services, supplies, employee relocation, and emergency response support. GSA is committed to clean energy and has been in the process of greening the federal fleet with electric vehicles. We work with industry partners and the federal community to develop workable strategies to address the climate crisis.

TTL is also responsible for the Fleet program, including all updates and modernizations listed in the Biden-Harris Administration’s Executive Order on Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad.

In this podcast episode, Phelan discusses GSA’s plan for the federal fleet’s transition to zero emission vehicles. This directive affects 450,000 leased and owned vehicles such as sedans, mid/heavy duty trucks, ambulances, fire trucks, and police vehicles across over 75 partner agencies. It also involves the necessarily complex planning for charging infrastructure around the country.

Listen to how FAS and TTL are making strides and planning for the future.

FAS Focus, which is produced by GSA’s Office of Strategic Communication, features interviews with agency leaders, project managers, thought leaders, and other experts about new projects, opportunities, and successes across FAS and the agency.
