GSA Vehicle Purchasing offers an array of deeply-discounted vehicle solutions to meet all of an agency's vehicle purchasing needs. When using the GSA Vehicle Purchasing program, customers are ensured direct and easy access to a full spectrum of vehicle solutions. GSA is a mandatory source, under FPMR 101-26.501, for purchases of new non-tactical vehicles for DOD, federal executive agencies and other eligible users.

AutoChoice Vehicles, Products, and Services

Ordering has never been easier when you use GSA’s online tool, AutoChoice. AutoChoice lets you compare manufacturers, configure vehicles,choose equipment and color options, and view side by side comparisons of vehicle models from manufacturers to help you make a best value selection. You can also use AutoChoice to check your order status, get miles per gallon fuel ratings, select dealerships, run reports and much more! Vehicles purchased through AutoChoice are built-to-order. Our wide selection of vehicle products includes:

  • Alternative fuel vehicles;
  • Ambulances;
  • Buses;
  • Light trucks;
  • Light trucks - vocational;
  • Medium and heavy trucks;
  • Sedans; and
  • Wheelchair vans.

Non-Standards Program

Non-Standard orders can be placed using AutoChoice. After receipt of your request, GSA Vehicle Purchasing can help you customize any non-tactical vehicle and provide project planning, design, construction, and project management through delivery of your customized vehicle.

Express Desk

Sometimes you have an urgent need for a vehicle solution and need it NOW! Express Desk can help you purchase off-the-lot vehicle solutions with the proper justifications. Using the Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) Program

Eligible customers can purchase through AutoChoice or contract with pre-approved vendors found on Schedule under the Large Categories Industrial Products and Services or Transportation and Logistical Services.

Customers contract with pre-approved vendors and benefit from “most-favored customer” pricing with GSA Schedules. Please refer to the letter from GSA's, Federal Acquisition Service, Order Placement Procedures for MAS [PDF - 56 KB] explaining the MAS ordering procedures

This Schedule offers a wide variety of specialty vehicles and accessories, including:

  • Fire Fighting Apparatus and Attachments;
  • Law Enforcement Vehicles and Attachments;
  • Special Vocational Vehicles and Attachments;
  • Construction Equipment and Attachments;
  • Snow Maintenance Equipment;
  • Aircraft Ground Support Vehicles and Equipment;
  • Upfitting Services;
  • Low Speed Vehicles;
  • Trailers and Attachments;
  • Tires;
  • Leased Heavy Duty Vehicle and Accessories; and
  • Vehicle Purchasing Body and Repair Services.

The Schedule also offers commercial leasing of automobiles and light trucks that permits agencies to fulfill their short term leasing needs via 12, 18, 24, 30, and 36 month leases of commercial vehicles, SUVs and light trucks.

If you don’t find what you need and need to purchase it on your own, you are required to request a waiver from GSA’s mandatory use designation.
