Advancing Equity and Increasing Supplier Diversity in Federal Procurement
Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDBs) face disproportionately unfair obstacles and negative impacts when they compete for federal government contracts and obligations. Since we oversee about $75 billion in annual contracts, we can help SDBs overcome these challenges. Federal procurement is complex; the challenges that SDBs face reduce their chances of succeeding and reinforces the federal marketplace’s systemic economic disparities.We work to reduce barriers and improve SDB outcomes at critical stages of the federal contracting lifecycle. Our goal is to increase overall contract dollars awarded to underserved and disadvantaged communities.
