Dark Fiber Service (DFS) provides optical fiber infrastructure (cabling and repeaters) in which the light is provided by the customer, using their own optronics equipment, rather than by the carrier.
Ethernet Transport Service (ETS) provides layer-2 connections over the contractor's MPLS backbone to interconnect Agency LANs for Agency Intranet, Extranet (business partners), and network access by remote or mobile users. In addition, ETS can also be used for Ethernet circuits, instead of TDM-based PLS circuits.
Internet Protocol Service (DFS) provides layer-3 connections over the contractor's MPLS backbone for Agency Intranet, Extranet (business partners), and remote access for employees to telework, in addition to access public Internet.
Optical Wavelength Service (OWS) provides point-to-point, bi-directional optical connections of very high data rates over the contractor's fiber optic cables.
Private Line Service (PLS) provides a closed network data transport service consisting of dedicated duplex transmission connectivity between two or more designated end points over which agency service applications traverse at agency-specified bandwidths.
Synchronous Optical Network Service (SONETS) provides end-to-end optical synchronous transmission over the contractor's SONET network - high reliability with self-healing and robust network management.
Virtual Private Network Service (VPNS) provides encrypted point-to-point layer-3 IP connections over the contractor's MPLS backbone for Agency Intranet, Extranet (business partners), and network access by remote or mobile users.
Internet Protocol Voice Service (IPVS) provides voice communications service and telephony features to agencies using VoIP over a managed IP network. IPVS supports voice calls, whether initiated from on-net or off-net locations, to be connected to all on-net and off-net locations by direct dialing.
Circuit Switched Voice Service (CSVS) supports voice calls from TDM-based PBX and CO/Centrex at on-net or off-net locations to be connected to all on-net and off-net locations by direct dialing.
Toll Free Service (TFS) provides inbound toll free voice calling from the public and the agency personnel. TFS also supports call centers by providing intelligent call routing and Inverative Voice Response (IVR) to manage inbound calls.
Contact Center Service (CCS) provides end-to-end customer service via multi-media contact channels (voice, fax, email, web site, etc) with intelligent call routing and network call queue management.
Colocated Hosting Service (CHS) provides secure location with cage, racks, and site surveillance for hosting Agency datacenter equipment (i.e. Government Furnished Property). The service also includes dedicated connection from the Agency site and access to the public Internet.
A Private Cloud IaaS solution includes virtual machines, storage, and server hosting. The cloud platform provides necessary network infrastructure (e.g., LAN, load balancer, and firewall), security components, storage backup, continuity of operation, and disaster recovery services.
Private Cloud PaaS provides software tools for applications development (DevOps), such as developer tools, testing tools, and database systems hosted in the contractor's cloud, and, accessed from Agency Intranet and/or by remote users.
Private Cloud SaaS provides software and applications, such as email or Customer relationship Management (CRM) tools hosted in the contractor's cloud; and, accessed from agency intranet and/or by remote agency users.
Wireless Service (MWS) supports cellular voice and data calls for voice, messaging, and access to public Internet with various pricing plans, including the purchase of smartphones.
Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) is a set of tools and services that centralize mobile device management and maintenance.
Mobile application security ensures that user-requested or agency-developed mobile applications meet an agency's security requirements.
Commercial Mobile Satellite Service (CMSS) provides voice, data, and Internet services to land-based, maritime, and aeronautical users for one- or two-way communications via satellite between CMSS users, or between CMSS and wireline and wireless users.
Commercial Fixed Satellite Service (CFSS) provides satellite transponder capacity at customer-specified bandwidths between two or more specified end points for Agency voice and data applications.
Managed Network Service (MNS) allows an agency to obtain design, and engineering, implementation, management, and maintenance services for agency networks. The contractor will be the agency's sinlge point of accountability for all operations, maintenance, and administration activities.
Web Conferencing Service (WCS) provides interactive audio/video conferencing solutions using web browser interfaces over the internet and the agency's intranet, including the sharing of documents and applications.
Unified Communications Service (UCS) provides a single interface for an agency's communications subsystems, such as voice, messaging, presence, voice mail, email and vidoe/audio/web conferencing.
Managed Trusted Internet Protocol Service (MTIPS) provides cyber security, in accordance with OMB and DHS mandated TIC v2.2 requirements, for all external connections to public Internet, Extranet, and Cloud Service Providers.
Managed Security Service (MSS) provides cyber security capabilities, such as authentication, anti-virus, anti-malware/spyware, intrusion detection, and security event management.
Managed Mobility Service (MMS) allows personal and Agency-owned mobile devicies (smartphones and tablets) to access agency networks in accordance with the agency's IT security policy.
Audio Conferencing Service (ACS) provides multi-party audio conference calls from anywhere with any device and for any conference size.
Video Teleconferencing Service (VTS) provides multi-locations interactive video conference, including the sharing of documents.
DHS Intrusioin Prevention Security Service (IPSS) provides DHS with intrusion detection and protection capabilities to support ongoing and future programs.
Access Arrangements (AA) provides access circuits to connect customer sites to contractor’s service network (e.g., VPNS Point of Presence (POP)) for service provisioning.
Each EIS service includes all labor necessary to implement those services. Service Related Labor (LABOR) provides any additional labor necessary to support the service.
Cable and Wiring (CW) provide the necessary wiring and cabling to complete the Agency TO.
