Your agency works directly with Lyft and Uber to set-up business accounts, deploy rideshare applications, and launch services. They will send sign up information to agency employees.
- Activate your business account by tapping the unique email invite sent by your agency.

Set a payment method
Organizations have the flexibility to determine which payment method to establish.
- The options are Centrally Billed Accounts, Individually Billed Accounts, or a combination of both.
- Payment methods are set up for auto expensing with no paper receipts to worry about.

Remember to switch to your business profile in the apps when riding for work.
- Both vendors can reverse inadvertent charges when the business profile has been used, in lieu of the personal profile, for personal rides.
- Vendors will assist agency admins in customizing what’s important, such as policy, type of vehicle, rideshare hours, or anything else deemed important to your organization.

How it works
GSA is the governmentwide Program Manager for the Rideshare/Ride-hail solution. Your agency works directly with Lyft and Uber to set-up business accounts, deploy rideshare applications, and launch services, including:
- Designating a customer account manager for each agency
- Develop an agency communications strategy
- Establishing onboarding teams for account set-up and implementation
- Providing training, assistance, and customer service support to riders
Onboarding specialists will help with all stages of account set up and implementation.
How soon can our agency “go live”?
The launch timeline depends on the number of accounts being created, and any customization your agency may have. On average, it takes around 4-5 weeks to set up and deploy; however, a small pilot could be put together in a few days. The dedicated customer account manager will work with you on your agency launch including employee communications.
