Historic Tours of St. Elizabeths Campus
Join the General Services Administration - Office of Planning and Design Quality on a walking tour of the historic St. Elizabeths campus, located on the Anacostia Hills of Washington, D.C.
All 2024 tours will be held on the second Friday of each month, beginning at 11:00 AM. The 90-minute tour covers an approximately 1.5 mile route. On the tour, you can expect to see the historic Center Building, the primary building of the St. Elizabeths Hospital historic district, panoramic views of Washington, D.C. from “The Point,” and supporting buildings around the core of the 176 acre campus.
Terrain includes sidewalk, street, and grass, as well as one area of steep slope. Please plan to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and be prepared for heat/sun. Registration is limited to 15 people and is dependent on both availability and the required security approvals.

- Requested mobility or accessibility accommodations. We will do our best to assist.
To finalize your reservation, you will receive an email from the Federal Protective Service (chqvisit@hq.dhs.gov; approximately 10-14 days before the tour) and must complete all steps to process your background investigation.
