70 Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses Receive GSA’s Governmentwide Acquisition Contract

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded its Veterans Technology Services 2 (VETS 2) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) to 70 highly qualified Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

“By selecting these 70 SDVOSB firms to support the missions of government agencies, VETS 2 not only ensures our partners in government have the resources they need, but contributes to a healthy industrial base in local communities,” said GSA Office of Information Technology Assistant Commissioner Kay T. Ely. “Building on the success of the first generation solution, GSA has performed an unprecedented amount of market research for VETS 2 and is proud to offer these services from such highly qualified, innovative firms.”

VETS, the federal government's first and only GWAC set-aside exclusively for SDVOSBs, resulted in $2 billion in mission delivery support from 20 different federal agencies over a 10 year period. Recognizing the success of VETS, VETS 2 was created to fulfill the government's demand for IT services from highly qualified SDVOSB firms.

VETS 2 is a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a Best-in-Class designation and 70 of the world's premier SDVOSB IT service providers.

VETS 2 is designed to meet a variety of diverse agency IT requirements, including new and emerging technologies. The GWAC enables GSA to continue its support of the SDVOSB Procurement Program, while helping federal agencies achieve their goals.
