GSA Announces New Class of Presidential Innovation Fellows
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Building on the efforts underway to modernize technology within the federal government, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) today announced 10 new Presidential Innovation Fellows. These fellows represent some of the nation’s best and brightest innovators, entrepreneurs, developers and designers working at the highest levels of the government to tackle some of our nation’s biggest challenges.
The new fellows are Gil Alterovitz, Nina Bianchi, Sandeep Burugupalli, J. Alex Dalessio, Davey Gibian, Zach Goldfine, Mike Rossetti, Jeffrey Starr, Stephen Winchell and Stephen Matthew Wisniew. Joining the federal government as entrepreneurs-in-residence, the fellows will be working to drive innovation and modernize technology within government agencies and offices, including the U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Institutes of Health and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
The Presidential Innovation Fellows program brings the principles, values, and practices of the innovation economy into government through the most effective agents of change: people. This highly competitive program pairs talented, diverse technologists and innovators with top civil servants and change-makers working at the highest levels of the federal government to achieve lasting impact at startup speed. The program has been housed at GSA since 2015.
