Paul Ingrassia
As Acting General Counsel, Paul leads a team of over 100 attorneys across seven divisions, focusing on implementing the President’s Executive Orders, GSA’s statutory responsibilities, and improving the efficiency of legal and regulatory processes to minimize the use of taxpayer dollars.
Before joining GSA, Paul served as the White House Liaison to the Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security. He played a key role in vetting and hiring officers for critical legal and national security positions. Under his leadership, DHS and DOJ experienced faster staffing rates than previous administrations, with over 200 political appointees joining DHS by the time he departed.
Paul, a lifelong New Yorker, began his career as an attorney and legal commentator.
He holds a BA with honors in mathematics and economics from Fordham University. He received his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2022.
