GSA announces public sale of a nearly .8-acre waterfront parcel on Fishers Island, New York

BOSTON – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has announced that it is offering for sale by public auction a 0.8-acre parcel improved with a 2,700 square foot house on Fishers Island located in Southold, New York. 

GSA is offering the site for sale by public auction as part of its mission to deliver value and savings in federal real estate for taxpayers.  

“The Cove” is located adjacent to the Fishers Island Ferry Dock on Greenwood Road, Fishers Island, Town of Southold, New York.

Property Details: 

The property is improved with a 2,700 square foot, two-story cape style house featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a driveway and perimeter fencing. The property has +/-132 feet of water frontage on Silver Eel Cove and includes a deck and floating dock. 

Auction Details:

  • The auction opens at 9:00 a.m. C.T. on May 8, 2024.
  • Interested bidders are required to register in advance and submit a $100,000 registration deposit. 
  • The starting bid is $1,000,000. 
  • Bid increments are $10,000. 
  • Site inspections will only be offered to registered bidders.
