October 4, 2021 Close Date Announced for Online Public Auction for Former FAA Tower Site in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts

BOSTON – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has set the initially anticipated close of auction date for the public auction of a former Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) tower site in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts, as part of its mission to deliver value and savings in real estate, acquisition, technology, and other mission support services across the government. 

The initially anticipated close of auction date is set for Monday, October 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. CT.

The site is vacant and unimproved.

  • Located in Cape Cod right off Route 6A 
    • Route 6a, Yarmouth Port, Barnstable County, MA 02675
  • Consists of 1.09 acres
  • Offered “AS IS” and “WHERE IS” 

Property Details

The Property is mostly a rectangular parcel of unimproved land. The balance is the paved residential road known as Walden Way. The site topography is gently sloped upwards from Walden Way. The center of the Property is covered with gravel and the periphery of the Property is vegetated with trees and bordered by private residences. 

Procurement of utility service shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser as of the date of conveyance. Bidders are urged to contact the appropriate utility providers for information on the availability of utilities.

Those interested in bidding are required to register in advance and submit a $10,000 registration deposit. Bid increments are $10,000.
