U.S. General Services Administration’s Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization in Region 6 took part in the 2023 Veteran’s Summit: For Those Who Served on November 15, at Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, Mo.

The event helps connect veteran business owners with an experience to enhance their business practices through interactive workshops. It also provides a networking event that’s designed to bring regional institutions, municipalities, and state and federal government entities together in one venue to meet with veteran-owned businesses and service-disabled veteran businesses for procurement opportunities.

Supervisory Small Business Specialist Chris Eischen and Small Business Technical Advisor Carolina Vargas attended the event to discuss government procurement opportunities and processes with veteran-owned small businesses.

The event is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week that kicked off on November 13 and runs through November 17.
