FY 2022 FAS Industry Satisfaction Survey (ISS)

As our industry partner, you are a critical part of our acquisition infrastructure. To gauge our performance, we use a Industry Satisfaction Survey designed to improve our services and offerings.

In 2021, our agency received the highest scores to date from industry for overall satisfaction in working with GSA. However, we also received feedback about opportunities for improvement. In response to that feedback, we relaunched the Vendor Support Center in January with a fresh design, updated content, and new search functionality. We also began:

  • Making it easier to upload catalogs.
  • Improving our guidance on how to become a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contractor. The revamped MAS Roadmap will launch next month.
  • Deploying the Contract Acquisition Life-cycle Management (CALM) system this year. CALM will modernize all of GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) internal acquisition systems and will allow industry to submit offers, manage awarded contracts, and see opportunities through a single integrated portal.
  • Conducting Human-Centered Design interviews to get your direct input on the usability issues you identified.

We understand that small businesses continue to face barriers with the federal procurement process and finding business opportunities. We continue to work with GSA’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) to provide training in navigating the procurement process, including our popular Office Hours sessions.
