Stephanie Hill is the new cross-regional PBS Acquisition Center Director
PBS is pleased to announce Stephanie Hill as our new Director of the Acquisition Center for Facility Management Services (ACFMS). This cross-regional division, formed in the fall of 2022, acquires facilities management services for the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast Sunbelt and National Capital Regions. ACFMS standardizes processes, leverages resources, and streamlines contracts, while creating opportunities for small business, supporting our socio-economic goals and saving taxpayer dollars.
Hill previously served as Acting Director of ACFMS and was also the division’s National Capital Region Branch Chief. She joined the center from her previous position as branch chief in the Mid-Atlantic Region’s Acquisition Management Division. She has worked in various organizations within the Mid-Atlantic Public Buildings Service as well as a temporary assignment with the Office of Governmentwide Policy as a procurement analyst.
During her tenure in Mid-Atlantic PBS, she worked on a variety of complex cross-regional projects and initiatives including the NCR service contracts re-procurement initiatives. She is a national expert on the AbilityOne Program and routinely provides consulting services on the program to regional and national peers. Hill excels in establishing collaborative relationships with other business lines across GSA regions, ACFMS’s customers, the GSA national office, and industry.
Hill states about her role, “I look forward to continuing the collaboration and innovation that ACFMS has with Regions 3, 4, and 11 and also continuing to be an advocate for facilities engineering contracts nationwide.” (A facilities engineering contract includes basic operations and maintenance services, but also requires the contractor to provide additional technical and managerial expertise to assist GSA in holistic asset management over the long term.)
Hill began her GSA career in 2004 after graduating from the Rutgers University School of Business (Honor’s College) with a degree in management and a minor in marketing. She holds Level III certifications in FAC-P/PM and FAC-COR, and FAC-C Professional along with an associate certificate in project management from George Washington University.
