William Pettigrew Appointed GSA Senior Advisor to the Office of Small Business Utilization

Washington, D.C.—The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announces William Pettigrew as Senior Advisor to the Office of Small Business Utilization (OSBU). Pettigrew, an appointee of President Donald J. Trump, will work to streamline processes for small business participation with GSA focusing on social media communication and outreach to the small business community.

Prior to joining GSA, Pettigrew had extensive professional experience within the public transportation sector with an emphasis on information technology (IT) and marketing. He has spent much of his career in various leadership roles at the Philadelphia Parking Authority, where he most recently served as the director of marketing and as director of information technology. Pettigrew also served in a number of local and statewide community and civic leadership roles. He also served as a manager and partner at several private sector IT companies.

Pettigrew studied IT and political science at Drexel University, and holds a certification in computer systems technology from Lincoln Technical Institute
