On August 29, 2018, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and the U.S. Marine Corps signed a Performance-Based Agreement (PBA) that further strengthens the long standing relationship between the two federal agencies. The PBA will enable the Marine Corps to more effectively obtain the products and services they need to accomplish their mission and serve the American people.

By partnering to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of acquisitions, technology, and logistics the PBA will also enhance the readiness of warfighter operations.

The PBA establishes a new Partnership Agreement Council (PAC). The council will meet quarterly to share information, optimize supply chain operations, identify ways to modernize information technology (IT) systems, and realize cost efficiencies in the delivery of goods and services.

The signing of this agreement is just the latest example of GSA’s commitment to delivering cost-effective customer service. Learn more about Commissioner Thomas’s vision to make the Federal Acquisition Service easy, efficient and modern here.
