Vehicle Purchasing

Right Vehicle, Right Price, and Great Service

You can use GSA Fleet to purchase vehicles for your agency that span a wide variety of vehicle and fuel types. Download the GSA Fleet Vehicle Purchasing Guide [PDF - 2 MB] for an overview of the purchasing process, programs, and regulations.

According to FPMR 101-26.501, you must use GSA to purchase any new non-tactical vehicles for your federal agency. Other eligible users can also purchase vehicles from GSA.

When you purchase a vehicle from GSA Fleet, we take care of all the contracting actions so you can simply place a requisition for your vehicle in AutoChoice. GSA Fleet helps you save over 24 percent off the manufacturer's invoice price and offers professional engineering services, technical assistance, and vehicle design services.

You can find vehicles that are open and available to order in the Vehicle Availability Listing (VAL) and review details of available models in AutoChoice.

Sign up for GSA Fleet's email notification to receive up-to-date information on vehicle availability.

Contact vehicle.buying@gsa.gov or (844) 472-1200 for assistance with your vehicle needs.

Used Vehicles

Even if you are not a member of a federal agency, you can purchase used GSA Fleet vehicles at auction. When a vehicle meets its replacement criteria, GSA Fleet offers the vehicle for sale to the public. Every year, GSA Fleet sells over 30,000 vehicles. Auction inventories vary at each sale, but usually include multiple vehicle types with varying fuel capabilities. To find out how to buy used vehicles, visit AutoAuctions.
