The SES leads the American workforce. It includes most managerial, supervisory, and policy positions classified above GS-15 or equivalent positions in the executive branch of the federal government.
Senior executives share a broad perspective of government grounded in the Constitution and make sure federal executive management is responsive to the needs, policies and goals of the nation.
Requirements
To be qualified for an SES job, you must demonstrate exceptional leadership, managerial and people skills, and know how to build partnerships and communicate with customers.
Any person with U.S. citizenship, or who is a U.S. non-citizen national (a resident of American Samoa or Swain Island) may apply for positions that are open to the public.

Documentation
