RWA fee structure

Federal law mandates that we recover the full cost of providing reimbursable work. Every few years we reevaluate the fee structure for reimbursable work authorizations to ensure we meet our fiscal obligations.

Current RWA fee structure

Our fee structure is a stepped percentage of the overall direct project costs. As total project costs rise, our fee percentage rate goes down.

This fee structure applies to all project costs except for certain personal property expenses.

We charge $500 for recurring RWAs, such as overtime utilities in GSA-owned space.

Examples

We would charge $22,000 for an RWA that costs $200,000. For a project cost of $240,000, we would charge a $26,400 fee. Both are 11% of the project cost.

Fee for severable services

Recurring RWAs (typically overtime utilities in GSA-owned space) are charged a flat $500 fee per child estimate
