GSA is asking for your contact information so that we can decide if you are able to participate in design research studies about this website. Your participation in a study is optional; nothing changes if you choose to opt out.
By providing your contact information, you agree to receive follow-up email about the study. For example, you might get an email asking, “Please share what brought you to this website today?” Based on your response to that question, you might later receive a follow-up email with instructions for scheduling a time to participate in a usability test .
GSA's design research is conducted in the spirit of Executive Order 13571, Section 2B, which directs agencies to “establish mechanisms to solicit customer feedback on government services and use such feedback regularly to make service improvements”. GSA's collection of contact information is authorized by the E-Government Act of 2002 (P.L. 107-347, 44 USC § 3501). To protect your privacy, GSA uses information collected through design research in accordance with its published Privacy Act system of records notice [DOCX - 18 KB] (GSA/CIO-3) and its Privacy Impact Assessment for Design Research.
