GSA's FAS Catalog Platform Now Available for New MAS Awardees
Post filed in: FAS
GSA is committed to the ongoing modernization of the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) program, focusing on delivering value and upholding fiscal responsibility. Moving forward, newly awarded MAS contractors will automatically be onboarded to GSA’s FAS Catalog Platform (FCP) to upload and manage their product or service catalogs for publication to GSA Advantage.
This enhancement eliminates the need for new awardees to use burdensome and antiquated systems like the Schedule Input Program (SIP) or EDI-832–also known as the price/sales catalog–saving time and eliminating duplicate data entry for both vendors and GSA contracting officers.
FCP is GSA’s modern, web-based platform that enables industry partners to manage their product and service catalogs with greater accuracy, efficiency, and transparency under their awarded MAS contracts. Since its launch in 2023, GSA has onboarded over 7,000 existing contracts. Until now, new awardees were required to submit through SIP or EDI-832 before becoming eligible for FCP– an extra step that has now been eliminated.
GSA Advantage is an online shopping and ordering system run by GSA that allows federal, state, and local government agencies to buy products and services from vendors with GSA Schedule contracts. Direct integration with FCP ensures that catalog data flows automatically into GSA Advantage, improving the experience for both vendors and government buyers.
GSA is committed to the ongoing modernization of the MAS program, focusing on delivering value and upholding fiscal responsibility. This translates to less paperwork and a much better experience for the businesses serving the government.
