Federal Fleet Manager Certification Program

The FFMCP has moved to a new system!

All users (new and existing) must register in the new system with a government email address. The registration and login processes have been streamlined and registration no longer requires a mobile device. A Max.gov account is required for all users to login to the system. Max.gov is used to comply with IT Security multi-factor authentication requirements. If you don’t have a Max.gov account you need to establish one.

If you had an account in the previous system, you will need to register for the new system. Your training records will not be immediately available, but will eventually be loaded to the new system.

There has been no change to the course content.

General Information about the Program

The Federal Fleet Manager Certification Program (FFMCP) is comprehensive training for federal fleet management at all levels. The FFMCP was developed by GSA Fleet in conjunction with the GSA Office of Governmentwide Policy and is available to all GSA Fleet customers at no additional cost.

The program consists of six core courses and two electives. All courses are online and self-paced. View FFMCP course descriptions [PDF - 451 KB]. The program provides an overview of federal vehicle policies and procedures. Your individual agency may have additional policies that you must adhere to. Direct all agency-specific policy questions to your agency’s headquarters, fleet manager, or general counsel’s office.

All courses are self-paced, online and take approximately 1 hour to complete.

Note: GSA personnel should not register for Learning Academy. They must complete the certification program through GSA Online University (OLU).
