GSA to hold industry days for Land Port of Entry projects in Maine on November 28 and 29 in Portland

BOSTONThe U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region Public Buildings Service will host Design and Construction Industry Days for the five U.S. Land Port of Entry projects in Maine. Funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the announcement is part of President Biden’s Investing in America Agenda. The industry days – on Tuesday, November 28, and Wednesday, November 29, from 9:00 a.m.  – 2 p.m. EST – are intended for all businesses interested in these projects in Maine, including, but not limited to:

  • Architect-engineering firms 
  • General contractors 
  • Subcontractor trades
  • Material suppliers 

The event will be held at the AC Hotel by Marriott, 158 Fore Street in Portland, Maine.  Phone 207-747-1640.

This event is neither a solicitation nor a request for a proposal.

Each Industry Day will consist of:

  • Registration at 8:30 a.m. 
  • Meeting will start at 9:00 a.m.
  • Introduction and Project Presentations
  • One-on-One Sessions – Attendees should indicate on their registration if they would like a one-on-one session. Constructability questions will be used to guide these discussions.
  • Networking - Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other attendees at this time. There will also be GSA representatives in attendance who can be consulted about working with GSA, small business opportunities associated with these five projects and other aspects associated with government contracting.

 

All interested parties, regardless of event attendance, are encouraged (but not required) to submit responses to the questions below (via the link provided). This information may be used during a facilitated, group question and answer session at both Industry Days.
