Office of Strategic Communication
The Office of Strategic Communication (OSC) is GSA’s singular resource for all internal and external communications needs. OSC's main job is to use communications to help the agency meet its mission and business goals.
OSC offers a variety of services designed to meet business needs, including:
- media relations
- web-based communication
Media Affairs is part of the Office of Strategic Communication within GSA. It carries out the agency’s effort to assist the media and the public in understanding the important work performed by GSA as it assists other agencies, thus best serving the public and simplify access to government information and services.
Although it serves as the official point of contact for national inquiries, Media Affairs in Washington, DC, works closely with its Regional Communications Teams to ensure the media have public affairs experts to speak with when necessary.

From Facebook to Twitter; Instagram to LinkedIn, the Office of Public Engagement will find and use the right social media platform to get the agency’s message out, and will help the agency organize and manage online events like Twitter Town Halls and Google+ Hangouts.
The Office of Public Engagement creates opportunities to engage new and existing stakeholders in support of GSA's mission. The Public Engagement team develops outreach events and media messaging (especially social media) to enhance the public's understanding of GSA, the products and services they offer.
Event Planning and Management: Whether it’s a new product launch, a ribbon cutting or an online town hall, the Office of Public Engagement is here to ensure that the agency’s message reaches the widest audience and to identify and bring in stakeholder groups who may not have worked with GSA in the past.
Speaking Engagements: The Public Engagement office is busy identifying events and conferences where GSA leaders should be presenting. The office is always looking for knowledgeable, engaging individuals to speak on GSA's behalf at these events.

Corporate Communications Division
OSC's Corporate Communications team showcases the important work done by GSA to internal and external audiences. Corporate Communications' three branches work together to create cutting edge online, broadcast and print communications to inform and engage employees and stakeholders about the work of GSA's business lines and offices.
Communications Management: The Communications Management Branch develops and implements strategic communications programs to advance the goals of GSA's business lines and service and staff offices.
Digital Communications: The Digital Communications Branch manages GSA’s internal and external web presence, including GSA InSite, the agency’s primary public website GSA.gov, and its mobile sibling m.gsa.gov.
Visual Communications: OSC's Visual Communication Services includes:
- Videos, photography and other multimedia projects
- Graphic Design
