Special Handling Requirements for Reporting Excess Aircraft

Aircraft is designated as property with Special Handling Requirements (41 CFR 102-36.175). GSA’s Center of Expertise (COE) for Aircraft handles both Federal and DoD aircraft. This training will review the requirements for reporting property as well as the steps for customers interested in acquiring Excess or Surplus aircraft.

This free 1-hour virtual training will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 2:30 CT.

• This training is open to federal employees, military personnel, DOD civilian employees, and federal agency contractors. 
• Attendees will earn 1 Continuous Learning Point for their participation.

• The training is facilitated in Zoom for Government. ZFG may not be compatible with everyone's system, so please test your connection early.
