Second Generation IT Blanket Purchase Agreements

Features and benefits

2GIT basics

Contract type: blanket purchase agreements

Eligible users: Federal, state, local, tribal

Required users: U.S. Air Force

Ordering period: 3/31/2021 - 3/30/2026

Our Best in Class 2nd Generation IT Products hardware and software BPAs offer:

  • Access to mission-critical, best-value IT from a diverse pool of more than 70 industry partners including more than 50 small businesses.
  • Solutions that meet current procurement policies, incorporate best practices (like collecting prices paid data), and track savings.
  • Options that support the FY19 SECURE Technology Act and other federal cybersecurity efforts.

Scope

2GIT includes pre-competed commercial hardware, software, and ancillary services such as:

  • Purchase of New Equipment
  • Maintenance of Equipment, Repair Services and/or Repair/Spare Parts
  • Software License - Term Software & Perpetual
  • Software Maintenance Services
  • Order-Level Materials

Supply chain risk management is a foundational feature of 2GIT. By awarding to industry partners with solid enterprise SCRM plans, we help address the cybersecurity vulnerabilities associated with IT products.

News, events, and training

Register for our May 20 webinar to learn about 2GIT’s in-scope, pre-competed commercial hardware, software, and ancillary services. We’ll also discuss GSA’s Government-wide Strategic Solution for desktops and laptops and the Government-wide Printer BPA.

Buy through 2GIT

  • Review our buying guide for guidance and tips. State, local, and tribal agencies may be eligible to use Cooperative Purchasing.
  • Use the 2GIT eBuy portal to submit your request for quotations directly to our 2GIT vendors. Include any socioeconomic set-asides and special delivery/logistics, asset management, or security requirements. Only authorized 2GIT vendors can view and respond to RFQs posted in the portal.
  • Use GSA Advantage to place government purchase card orders.

2GIT vendors

2GIT vendors represent 10 awarded teams of large and small businesses covering most socioeconomic categories. To meet your requirements, teams may pair small and large businesses due to limited letters of supply from original equipment manufacturers and software publishers.

Use the 2GIT vendor teams table to identify 2GIT BPA teams and team members. Individual vendors may be on multiple 2GIT BPA teams. You can search for the contractors that meet your requirements in eLibrary.
