Calais Ferry Point Land Port of Entry, Maine
The project will expand the historical port with a multi-story addition while preserving the historical character of the original structure. The expansion will increase the inspection and operational capabilities, as well as modernize the Land Port of Entry (LPOE) with updated Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program of requirements and security measures. Program highlights include new canopy with additional inspection lanes and new booths, new parking facilities, additional offices, and upgrade to the interiors of the historic port structure.

Current status
An architect-engineering (A/E) award was made to Morphosis in April 2023. Jacobs was awarded the Construction Management as Advisor (CMa) contract in September, 2023. Phase II of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) study is underway and is expected to be completed by February 2024.
Environmental review
The National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) contractor should be completed with phase II of the environmental study by February 2024.
