From fundamental concepts to advanced disposal strategies, this comprehensive training course on Federal Personal Property offers 40 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs). Learn how to navigate the Personal Property Management System (PPMS) to facilitate your excess reporting and acquiring needs. We will also explore the various PPM programs available and special handling for specific property commodities. 

Course highlights include;

• PPMS Processes - Familiarization, Reporting, Acquiring, Managing
• PPM Programs - Agency Moves, Exchange/Sale, Reimbursement, Computers for Learning (CFL), Surplus Donation, Tribal Organizations.
• Special Handling - Demilitarization, Abandonment / Destruction, e-Recycling, Special Categories (animals, firearms, vessels and aircraft), Unclaimed property.
• Guest Speakers - GSA's Fleet, Customer and Stakeholder Engagement (CASE), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Public Buildings Service (PBS), and DLA Disposition Services  

This FREE virtual training will be held from Monday, April 6th through Friday, April 10th, 2026, 8:30 AM CST to 4:00 PM CST. Full attendance is required.  

• This training is open to federal employees, military personnel, DOD civilian employees, and federal agency contractors.
• Attendees will earn 40 Continuous Learning Points for their participation.

• The training is facilitated in Zoom for Government. ZFG may not be compatible with everyone's system, so please test your connection early.
