The OMB-designated Best-in-Class City Pair Program has awarded 8 airlines for this fiscal year 2024. They are:
City Pair awarded 13,391 markets in fiscal year 2024, with 10,398 of those as Domestic and 2,993 as International. These awards represent 90% of all trips flown by government travelers completing their missions. 2,276 markets were awarded with non-stop service.
79% of all awards have two discounted coach fares. This provides flexibility for immediate travel and deeply discounted fares for booking flights early. The YCA provides last seat availability up until the plane is sold out and the _CA fare offers a deeply discounted offering based on supply and demand of a flight.
The GSA City Pair Program will continue to save taxpayers an estimated $2.42 billion in fiscal year 2024. City Pair fares benchmark 53% lower than commercial like fares with no exchange fees, fully refundable, last seat availability, and no blackout dates.
City Pair benchmarks lower than corporate airfare in these common routes traveled by the federal government.
