Roadside Assistance

Manufacturers offer roadside assistance services for vehicles still under warranty. These services include:

  • Emergency towing;
  • Flat tire changing; and
  • Lock-out service, along with others.

Services can vary by manufacturer. Refer to your vehicle owners’ manual section for specific terms and conditions, customer assistance, and/or contact your Fleet Service Representative. See below for an overview of manufacturer coverage, and contact information.

CHRYSLER

Chrysler LLC 24/7 towing assistance covers all current models:

  • Chrysler;
  • Dodge;
  • Jeep cars; and
  • Light trucks sold between 2003 and 2012, with a 3 year/36,000 mile limited warranty.

For additional questions about vehicle coverage, refer to the owners’ manual or contact the manufacturer directly.

  • Emergency towing (to closest dealer from a legal roadway); and
  • Jump starts (at home or on the road).

For vehicle models beginning in 2013, roadside assistance (5 years/100K miles) includes these items:

  • Emergency towing (to closest dealer from a legal roadway);
  • Jump starts (at home or on the road);
  • Fuel delivery (2 gallons worth of fuel delivered on the road);
  • Lockout service (keys locked inside vehicle); and
  • Flat tire changes (spare installed).

FORD

Ford's 24/7 roadside assistance provides the following services during the first 5 years/60,000 miles:

  • Emergency towing (to closest dealer from a legal roadway within 35 miles);
  • Flat tire changes (spare installed);
  • Fuel delivery (up to 2 gallons worth of gasoline or 5 gallons of diesel fuel);
  • Jump starts (at home or on the road); and
  • Lockout service (keys locked inside vehicle, does not include the cost of making the key).

GENERAL MOTORS (GM)

General Motors 24/7 roadside assistance provides the following services during their new vehicle limited warranty period, which is 5 years/100,000 miles (light-duty vehicles ONLY):

  • Emergency towing (to closest dealer from a legal roadway);
  • Flat tire changes (spare installed);
  • Fuel delivery ($5 worth of fuel delivered on the road);
  • Jump starts (at home or on the road); and
  • Lockout service (keys locked inside vehicle, does not include the cost of making the key).

HYUNDAI

Hyundai roadside assistance is provided on all 2011 and newer model year Hyundai vehicles for a period of 5 years/unlimited miles.

To receive assistance, call 800-243-7766 and provide a representative with the following information:

  • Confirmation that it is a US Government vehicle owned by GSA Fleet;
  • Your name;
  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), located on the driver’s side dashboard;
  • Vehicle mileage;
  • Vehicle location; and
  • Description of your vehicle’s problem.

Coverage:

  • Towing to the nearest Hyundai dealership or authorized service facility;
  • Roadside services:
    • Dead battery/jump start;
      Flat tire change;
      Lock-out service (keys locked in car); and
    • Gas delivery (up to three gallons where permissible, at no charge when you run out).

Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi roadside assistance is provided on all 2011 and newer model year Mitsubishi vehicles for a period of 5 years/unlimited miles.

To receive assistance, call 888-648-7820 and provide a representative with the following information:

  • Your name;
  • Vehicle license plate number;
  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), located on the driver’s side dashboard;
  • Vehicle location;
  • Description of your vehicle’s problem; and
  • Telephone number where you can be reached.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE CONTACT INFORMATION

A roadside assistance customer service representative will contact a local service provider to get help as quickly as possible. This service is available throughout the:

  • 50 states:
  • Puerto Rico;
  • Virgin Islands; and
  • Canada.

When contacting a roadside service representative the following is needed:

  • The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN);
  • Make/Model;
  • Color;
  • License plate; and
  • Current location.
