The Otay Mesa Land Port of Entry is the busiest commercial port in California. GSA is undertaking a project to modernize and expand the existing port. The project involves doubling the number of pedestrian processing facilities, a new pedestrian bridge that connects to a recently completed transit hub, construction of a new commercial annex building, commercial vehicle circulation improvements, an increase of commercial import booths and additional parking.
